Terra Cotta Mountains

I caught this scene in the Terra Cotta Mountains of Alaska and I think it's just too pretty not to share. Just a quick iPhone pic as I was traveling light and couldn't spare bringing my "real" camera. Instant regret when I peeked over the edge into this valley. I'll always wonder how this would have come out with the time and gear to do it right.

I planned on having a few days in this area to explore and return to some of the same places. Plans ended up changing and I never got that chance. Live and learn....
