The clipped toe kinda ruins it as a product shot for me-- these sorts of shots need to be perfect to work.

Yes.. clipped the toe and the background is not white. There is only one subject... it has to be perfect.

The white balance looks a little off as well. Unless it is my laptop. But it almost has a pinkish look to it.

I think you're right about the white balance...the background is pinkish on my calibrated monitor.

On my cal, it is off, and the toe needs to be corrected if you reshoot. Also, try to get one type of light source, the different reflections on the shoe ruin it.
