Testing Bruna and Daniel

Backstory on this is as follows . My buddy who is a Photog from NY calls me and tells me he is coming down to Miami for a shoot and If I'd like to assist him . I have nothing going this day so I say heck yea.

Now, he knows I'm into photography so he lets me have some time with the models to shoot for my own stuff . Below is some of the stuff I got , not all edit are complete just figured I'd share some of them .

I do believe I'm finding my niche in photography as i'm really enjoying working with the fashion aspect of it . Beauty , portrait , lifestyle stuff .

Beautiful girl. I like everything you have here! If there are any "weak" ones, perhaps #4 and #9. She doesn't look as "glam" in #4? And his eyes are closed in #9, but perhaps that's the posing trend today in glam stuff. Keep in mind, I'm a noob and I'm just trying to learn to c&c a baby step at a time.

I got a bunch of them together with his eye open , but I don't know I just like the feel of this pic. The backlight her easy expression , I just like it .

They are indeed beautiful models, but... in the images where they are together, there doesn't seem to be much engagement between them. In the last image, for instance, they are definitely close enough to be in each other's personal space, but their gaze is past each other, and I don't get a sense that they are engaging each other or interacting. Your photography has certainly rendered them very well, but I'm getting some mixed feelings in seeing then together, in that despite the suggestive proximity to each other, they don't seem to be interacting.

Yea you are correct about the "aloofness " in these pics , It's kinda all in the " I'm way to sexy for you " Genre . Wanted it this way , and not overly lovable , hence the reason your not seeing alot of smiles . Trying to evoke sexiness in that Fashiony sort of way . Sorry for my not too clear explanation .

Sure , I decide right away I was going to go with the blown out, dreamy , go on forever and can be anywhere in world background .

That be said I metered on my subjects them went a little right , just a little ! you want to have something to be able to pull back in post .

Brought my subjects back some in post and done . But really it was my D700 , !!!!!!
