This time droplets. All photos here taken at:
f/5.6
ISO-400
1/1000th
18-55 kit lens
Canon EOS 550D
(camera and lens was my brother's)
no flash used
---------------------------------------

I set up the shoot right next to a window to get enough light in. I shot in manual, and the light did not change whilst shooting. I also experimented with a white sheet as a reflector, but the differences were extremely subtle, so I dropped it. The water is backlit from an overcast day.
Taken in RAW and batch edited and then converted to JPEGs. They are cropped at about 1/4 of original size, that's why we used my brother's 500D instead of my 40D. Also, his lens has a shorter focusing distance (though I'd like the few extra stops of light mine would give). Here are 4 photos, the rest of the edited ones can be found at my Flickr account.

I think there are some focusing issues. We had to resort into one of us aiming the small, yet constant, flow of water from the bag into the sharp area. These aren't all that bad, imo, but some could be better. Tear them apart! :)
PS.. For those interested in seeing the big images, they are accessible at my flickr ;)

#1 I thought that only a panoramic crop would work on this particular shot.

Thanks for watching :)

Ohh, I found I really liked the ones with the big bubble with smaller ones inside

i think these are really neato! I am definitely going to try this

Why, thank you :)

Very cool shots! I really like the first one, I think the panoramic works well.

Why such high ISO? Especially when you're on a tripod...
I'm seeing grain in these pictures which might well not be present if you used a lower ISO...

Coulda done like ISO 100 and a slower shutter speed. I believe when I did mine I was limited to 1/200 by my flash so I know a slower shutter speed would work to freeze motion is that's why you used ISO 400 and 1/1000...

I tried at 1/500 and thought I saw obvious blurred water, so I upped the ISO. What aperture did you use? Maybe it was so small your flash freezed the action.

Don't remember what aperture. probably f8

Anyway, we might try again. We stopped as the memory card was full.
Any others? :)
