textures in pp?

does anyone have any experience with adding textures in pp? Someone suggested to me (told me to look at this person's photostream: Flickr: Bastiank80's Photostream and I really enjoy the effect. Are there tutorials on how to do these things? I thought at first this was film!

It's fairly easy in photoshop, just go to file and click embed photos and choose the textured photo you want an in the drop down box on the right choose screen option, then place the photo and voiola!
