Okay, I was bored and toying around with my new flash. Obviously bored. Enjoy, though!!!

Chuck checked his watch; she was late again as always, and this time, it was the last chance…

He remembered the good times with Myrtle;

the times they were never closer.

He amused himself with that old vacation snapshot of them taken by the little Maple they loaned their camera to in front of the Taj Mahal. Or perhaps it was the Louvre. He couldn't remember, and the background was way underexposed.

But then he remembered the fights, too; She was never happy.

Yet they always seemed to recover, make up, and understand each other in new ways.

Chuck Sighed as he remembered the night that she let him down as easy as she could. She’d had enough. She couldn’t do it any more.

Myrtle wondered if she’d regret it.

Chuck waved cheerfully through the tears. He clung to the last splinters of hope with every wave of his hand.

But unfortunately by the time she did show up, the zombies had gotten Chuck and Myrtle was forced to run for her life.​
