Love your use of the natural lighting in these. Not entirely sure about the blank black space to the right of #1 but that's probably just me.

#1 is super! but...too much dead space camera right. that one feels like a tall shot to me.
#2 is also super, but again, i think theres too much space at the top. (BUT...the space might fit ok because of the window..cropped down might not work as well..hard to say without seeing them side by side)

on an unrelated note, your BF is a sexy beast.
I wish i could grow my beard out, but its against company policy.

I love them both. I agree with pixmedic that there is a bit too much up top of #2, but I think if you lost part of that window it wouldn't work as well.

I'm also with pixlemedic on the crop. But these are great photos! You should add them to your portfolio, these would be great photos for a band/musician. Good work!

I wish I could see him a bit more. He looks very handsome but the details are missing. I also feel like these may have been just a bit over-edited. I'd love to see how these look if you were to reduce the layer opacity on your adjustments.
