A bit of minimalism. The Canadian snowbirds are their equivalent to the UK's Red Arrows. At the bottom right of the first image, you can just see where the singleton in the second image has just peeled off.

Well framed and the mono treatment goes well too
Each pic sits well in the frame, but poor old #2 looks a bit lonely!

I like that the subject is more the vapor trails showing the maneuver rather than the planes themselves. Nice captures, the lighting is terrific. Minimalistic is good however #2 is too much so for my taste.

Your right PJM. Conceived to use the vapour trails against a rich blue sky and other dissipating trails . As for the singleton, I just didn't want to leave him (/her?) out. ☺️
