The centerpiece.

I was sitting at home Saturday night and thinking about things to photograph this weekend. Since the weather wasn't great, I didn't want to get out. Then I really looked at the centerpiece on our coffee table. My wife put these things together and I began to think about how to light them. So that became my goal for Sunday morning. I experimented with 1 light and an Octabox then added a speedlight and finally used both lights with the speedlight with a flashbender set to a snoot and the diffusion of my reflector to soften it a bit. I used the black velvet from my light tent as a backdrop, my 7d mk ii with a 50mm f/1.8.
