A few of a watch c&c please..

1)Think the white is a little to distracting?

2)Did I did I not?

3)This watch really needs a proper polish..

4)Better composition?

5)Abstract.. Is that CA or flare is it really bad(I kinda like)?

6)Better?

7)To busy?

The first thing I see is that everything is dirty. take a small brush and brush away the dust from underneath the crown & bezel, then a lint free towel and cleanup/polish the rest of it.

What are you attempting to do here - focusing / DOF ?

Thanks yeah it really needs a good clean tried my best with a cloth. It needs a service so when it gets back I'll have another go.

In regards to what, a little of everything a lot is inspired by composition and lighting(practising with 1 speedlight)I have been trying to get better composition with DoF as was defaulting to wide open. As for focusing always trying, do generally use tripod and live view have I missed then? Apart from the back of the watch shots I tended to be on the crown.
