The dark side

Getting up and to the location in the dark brought out my dark side I guess.

Thanks bribrius. I have another photo in this thread that shows most of the rest of the rapids. (the above, I moved the camera to the right and zoomed in, so this area is not in the color photo)

I was going for a little more of the zoomed in details of the water and rocks on this one.

i like this Much better. The saturation and perspective on the other one wasn't working as well for me. jmo

Very nice Ron, I like the directness of the shot and it works well compositionally.

Ah, just worked out it's the zig zag of the smoothed out water that really makes it and walks my eye through the frame. The details on the rocks divert my eye now and then but quickly drawn back in by that zig zag.
