so if your all wondering why i haven't posted in so long.... its because its been raining for a week straight!

however it cleared up enough last night for a few shots, and the colours in the sunset were gorgeous.

c&c please overall i'm happy with the image, but am always looking for ways to improve

Is this realistic HDR or is this one exposure? How do you get the clarity and such a broad tonal range?

hey rexbobcat, one image, no hdr!! i used a 10 stop filter, that allowed for the long exposure. then also used two GND (graduated neutral density) filters (a 2 stop and 3 stop together) to allow my camera to capture the dynamic range in the sky and rocks.
