Just got my 20D and now I have to wait for the Q^$#%@ battery to charge before I can play.

When I got my tenD, I had to go thru a similar torture session. My lens was on its way! Those four days were like living hell. Spend a lot of time drooling over the new machine, like a proud father.

Torrential downpours today as Jeanne comes through so wasn't able to go out and take pics, though I'll probably wander around my apartment looking for something to shoot.

As far as the battery grip goes, I will probably get one eventually but I decided the money was better spent on a 2gig Ultra II compact flash card.

IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT, I've had mine for a week now and it is o so fun. In one week I've managed to click off 2200 exposures (this while working full time) It won't be too long of a wait, it should only take 2 hours to charge, and I have gone 2 days of shooting on one charge (without flash)

one beautiful advantage of the ole pentax istd is it can use everyday double A batteries
