Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I have been wanting to do one of these for awhile now and considering my friend asked to be taken in a similar manner, I figured I might as well do some test shots before the shoot next week.

Here are two of the best

EOS 550D / T2i
f/2.2
1/320 sec
ISO 800
-0.7 step
50mm

I really wish I had a Lytro for shots like these.

The key is too keep the legs together (more so) or a foot crossed in back works GREAT. Toes pointed down, arms straight and extended parallel to the body, hands.. better if they continue along the arms than broken.

Thoughts?

As such? I found the shift made it more interesting. But how is this?

That simple shift turned it from a bad Syfy (Used to be Scifi) movie to a movie like Skyline or some other modern alien/obduction movie. It helped alot to fix it. The burning is a little sketchy around her arms/hands. Maybe take a few more seconds to use the wand or other selection tool to brun around them more closely?

Thank you for the help :-)

After trying in vain to retouch around the legs, I decided to burn everything and then lighten the legs... That did not work.
So I just spent more time finely retouching around the legs, using a soft brush and going back over untill it was much better.

Legs.

Yet there is something which still is not right. Photoshoppy about it.

There is something photoshoppy about it. The difference in exposure will do that. But I really like it. It's dramatic and moody. Dynamic. I think it works wonderfully. Just make sure you don't go too dark, or it'll look underexposed. But as of now, I like it. It's very cinemato-photography looking. Very cool. A higher POV looking gown would be great as well.

You could always light the model with a bare flash to help aid in the separation. Other than that, it's a really cool idea. I like it.
