The devil's invention

My late uncle said of barbed wire that it is "the Devil's own invention". What would he have thought of razor wire, and the spiked fence shown here protecting a commercial property? I photographed it for the sad statement about modern life that it represents, and for the irony of the heart shapes made by the wire.

those which you love, could also be another interpretation !!

It can be interpreted in all sorts of ways, but I really like how you photographed this fence and the flood light in the background. Very simple, very stark, no distracting elements anywhere to be seen, and a nice element of the complimentary yellow of the lights carefully placed between one of the "hearts" of the razor blade fence against the blue sky. :thumbup:
