Thank you! Right now is a good time to see them at "Apollo Beach Viewing Center". There are a bunch of them there but I also noticed just as many, if not more, large Tarpon jumping out of the water. That's exciting to see! Some were at least 5 ft. long and upwards of 100 lbs. I can't speak for other places at the moment but Apollo Beach Viewing Center's site says they're open from Nov thru April so that should be a good time window for most places in Fl., I would think.

Ha! If it were a few wouldn't be going back home after swimming in those waters. Earlier this year I saw a dead 10 footer on the right bank in the last pic. Gators can be in any fresh water here.

On Key Largo go to the bay beach behind the Hampton Inn. They swim right up to the beach and dock.
