Another shot from the Honolulu zoo. Sorry, I don't remember what it is. My notebook didn't make it back, it's still there. Somewhere. I don't know what this fellow is peeved at, but he sure doesn't look happy!

Thanks to all for the comments. I was pleased with how this turned out. He was in total shade, behind a wire screen & this was the only angle I could get on him through the plants.

Maybe I caught his bad side?

Hey nice shot, Jim. I like the bird's pose and the foreground in this picture. The foreground gives the picture the predator point of view or sneaking up on the bird type of shot.

that is a great shot... perhaps he thinks your camera was stealing his soul. Have you tried cutting just a little more from the bottom, when viewing on the screen it makes it a little more dramtic while keeping his feet in the frame.
