The Herring forgot to run

I stop by the Herring run to see if the Herring were running. They were but not fast enough for this gull. The lighting was tough I blew the highlights out like nobodies business.

Forget any blow outs, you can't always make perfect what isn't. I personally think it's enough that you were able to follow him with a zoom lens and capture him in flight so nicely. Thanks for the effort and pics!

Nice series. I especially like the third one where the gull's wings are up and it is lifting off the water.
