The Last Point

Last night was the last game played in my old High School gym. It was the second round of the playoffs and the girls won 65-30. A nice comeback considering they were down 25-20 at the half lol

This freshman hit a free throw in the last few seconds to close the old building down





And my last photo of the night, they have a theme for every game and if the students dress to the theme they get in for free. Great choice for the last night

Good photos. It's always sad to see an older venu closed down...all that history. But in with the new,out with the old, I guess.

And you are right Mike, it is one of the last old ones standing in the area.

I'll get the new gym shots when it gets closer to opening.

But the old football field stays for varsity use only. For some reason it would have cost another 250K to add the varsity games at the new location, bathrooms and such. So the sub varsity sports will play on the new million dollar field lol
