Depends on what you are calling the "latest version". The latest stable version is v2.4.1 which was released way back in Sep of 2009. This is currently the version that I use.

There is a version 3.0 that is floating around, but it hasn't been officially released and is still pretty much in beta testing. I ran it for about 20 minutes... after crashing 3 times, I put it in the trash and restored 2.4.1. That was about 4 months ago, and several 3.0 builds have been compiled since then.... maybe you'll have similar problems, maybe it'll run soomth on your computer.

As for me, I'll be sticking with 2.4.1 until an official stable release is offered on 3.0.
