The lens or the wind? CC too

We had a balloon race here, and as I was looking at the pictures I noticed that the balloon in the upper left is tilted. Is this the wind or is it lens distortion from my kit lens?

Don't really see it in this one

I would say it was probably the wind.

It's a shame you weren't positioned on the other side of the sunset with the ballons illuminated rather the silhouetted. That's not a dig BTW, just a thought.

I agree. I specifically went to the evening race (there was one at 6am too) because of the direction the wind usually blows here it would allow this in the evening and not in the morning. Foiled by the weather, so I did the best I could working at some silhouettes. Being cloudy didn't help either; a little more sun and the colors would have popped a lot better.
