The little posers

These little birds are getting comfortable with my presence and allow me to get closer than before & do not take off the moment they see me. They actually seem to have started posing to get their pics taken. It is a lot of fun.

Thanks. The bird was following the movement of a butterfly & I was able to capture this pose

Thanks. The pics were shot with a Nikon Z6 with a Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500 F/5.6E ED VR lens

Thank you. With the F mount 200-500 lens and the Z to F adapter, I feel that the AF is a tad slow, as compared to the Z mount 24-70 lens. The lens being heavy, hand holding is a pain, but all my pics are hand held, as I do not want to scare the birds away, carrying my monopod & gimbal head around. Since all these pics were taken right outside my door, I am OK with the heavy lens.
