sorry. I am ignorant on horses. My sisters had them (one still does). I seemed to have atv's and mustangs instead (and no, not the horsey kind lol). Don't even know what plaited and sewn is speak english!

They are both Lakeland terriers but the one laid down with my missus is a Middleton Ward Red Lakeland specially breed for hunting

Also I wonder if you ran the photoshop "dust and scratches" noise removal over the first shot if it wouldn't get rid of those white specks on her face (yes yes I know its film and grain is nice but white specks is more like annoying dust than proper grain).

Ahh heh I saw the horsebox but no horse - though now we've got the horse.
Also glad to hear your OH (I assume that is Jane) is back in the saddle. I seem to recall some rather serious medical/surgery thing from a not too long while back.

Cheers she had a triple heart bypass because she has had diabetes since she was 3, she was back hunting 12 weeks after the op doctors were amazed
