Hi guys,

I just got myself a Nikon D5000 yesterday and frankly speaking I don't even have much of an experience with a point and shoot let alone a DSLR. I know the
subject of this pic is not very interesting but that aside I would very much appreciate any tips I can get

What if you made it B&W and threw a bit more contrast into the mix?
