I went Over to the Mississippi river on Fridy,1/27/06. It was a very nice winter day. 55 F and sunny. This is a picture of the locks at Fulton,Ill

well I do like the light on the river...lovely; but there is little else of interest really to hold my attention.

I wonder whether this is a colour photo? Is it? The top part (pinkish sky) and the tiny red flag on the pier (is that the word?) are suggesting that, though with the strong reflection of the sun on the water, most of the colour gets lost. Quite an interesting effect to observe!
I'm sure you got lots more pics from The Mighty Mississippi, right?
