These are two images I took at the park yesterday 15/2/11.
Thoughts/critiques would be very much appreciated!
I took this with my Panasonic DMC-FT2 digital camera on the film grain scene mode.

for some reason i really like the first image, it seems almost surreal.. im not sure but are those people on the bottom edge of the photo?

agreed. the composition is very nice.

i like the negative space for my eye to travel across to find the bird, and the movement in the bird is enough to keep it from being a very static image.

NayLoMo6c- there not people.. down below the shot is a public pool and there like outdoor over-head lights, though its kinda cool you thought they maybe be people.

invisible& photocist- thanks so much for both your comments. Ive just start educating myself on the history of photography could either of your possibly describe more what im cliching (if thats even a word). I know your right the image seem quite familiar to me but i can exactly pin-point from what genre.
