The PERFECT Bride! I

Oh great! I added a bit of saturation and contrast. Vignette is obvious and then some additional Gaussian blur on a few layers.

Not much, but it pushed the bride a bit more into focus.

Really, a nice shot. There are tons of ways to edit this one.

I like the original better!
I think it just looks more professional.

Thanks Crystal!

Oh btw, Creisinger, here's the original one! I cropped it more. I was seriously really far away. I'd say a football field at least

Isn't this the same image that you posted previously (on page 1)?

Thanks! I hope so! She had 2 photographers w/ her but I just need a release form for 2 photos so I can start printing them. But if not, at least I can show people in digital form :)

I do not understand why you would need to have permission to use these photos?

I don't when I show them here but I am planning to use them in brochure, for my business, for that I will need to have her sign a release form.

beautiful! I love the location!!! Where is that at??? I wish we had places like that in my small town... :)

So there I was, in the National Cathedral for the first time. There must have been a couple weddings going on. I was trying to sneak around get pictures of this Asian wedding till I turned around and this bride was running. They saw me trying to take a picture and said "ooo go ahead" and stopped and gave me the pose! This is the image, straight out of the camera, w/out any PP done to it. I love it just the way it is. I thought I'd share w/ you guys as well. Te other girl holding the dress is the sister. I gave them my card as they want the picture and said I could use it for my website. I hope they sign the release form later so I can actually use the image in my wedding brochure I'll be printing soon

This is probably gonna piss some off, but it annoys me having to read about it here so I'm gonna ask. You say time and time again that you have weddings lined up, this and that lined up, etc. etc...Your photos appear to be well-liked by your "customers", YET you still post your stuff here in the beginners section. My question is why? If you are sooo well-liked and sooo good, my thoughts are that you need to post in the professional section with the rest of the better guys, and stop teasing the rest of us! You obviously are better at editing your photos than me, AND have more time to devote to this hobby than me, yet you still post your work where I need to come to learn. It's just VERY frustrating! I'm sure someone out there agrees with me but won't say it!

Oh this is the Washington National Cathedral. It's in DC. You can also see my Washington National Cathedral thread for pictures of the location :D

EXCELLENT.
I'm not going to critique anything I can't do better.
Those look really good.

I see now why you have detractors.

Talent in such a short time.
The real thing.

Oh and here's what gets me...........talking the talk and then walking the walk.
Well done.
You have at least one admirer.

Thanks KP! Luv ya back! hahaha

Thanks! Appreciate your comment. Taking it as a compliment :D
This is more of an "inspiration" to us all.
Hey BTW, I didn't do any PP on the first pic. At all. That's straight from the camera.

I understand where you are coming from but lots of people, for example Bitter Jeweler, post their pictures in the beginner section both because that is the most popular section and it's bound to get a response. Also it is the most appropriate place to ask for c&c. It also gives beginners ideas and a place to learn what to do and maybe what not to do.
