The Place You Love

Sitting in a natural rock bed hot spring with a glacier fed river trickling in.

I used to live in the Kootenay mountains and we used to go up to the Halfway River hot springs all the time and just relax.

I sooooo want to go back !

Tough call for me. I have a few places I like. I think wandering around in a cemetery, or down at the bluffs near the lake with my pooch. That is my peace. I dont dislike people, but I like to be alone too. I also love to take off on my bicycle , up away from the city, where there are no cars, or the noise.

Red rock country, preferably southern Utah or northern Arizona. It's a big country, and you can be out in it for hours without seeing a soul. Plus, it's just beautiful and peaceful to have all around you. :heart:

I also like my own back yard....chilling out on the patio on a warm summer's night, watching the fireflies and drinking wine with the hubby.

Anywhere new and exciting with friends or loved ones. Trips small or large. Camping, roadtrips, cottages, they're all good. I don't think it's the specific place that makes it good, it's the people you're with.
