Very nice!

I like the composition and framing, the conversion to B+W is really nice. The only thing I can pick up on (and I am being very critical here) is there is a slight imbalance with the negative space above the radiator and the other two walls, possibly a small picture there may have sorted it and I'd have liked to have seen a sliver of space between the jug and vase(?) on the dresser and the bottom of the window.

I still think it's a good strong image though!

Thanks for input & complimentary words. By the way that is how the room is, it's not staged - if it were I would of un-crumple the tapestry & removed the air-fresher - the parents live downstairs! lol

Nice ... very nice ... tells a story. My two nits are no whites (at least on my tablet monitor) and I'm looking for symmetry based upon centering the drawers. Great job on the shadows.

I don't mind the lack of white in this image - I think there is plenty of contrast in this shot, and I like the toning. I do agree about the symmetry though. enezdez, would you be open to digitally cheating, and moving the window and dresser to the right so that they are centered in the frame? Being offset to the left as they are, and with so much more going on on the left wall, the image does have an imbalance to me. I think if you center the window and dresser you would get a balance, even with the blank wall above the radiator.

Not Saying that I am open to cheating but I am intrigued - How would I move the dresser & window to the right? I am assuming it will take cutting, pasting, and/or cloning and healing...FYI I don't know anything about Photo Shop, I use LR & NIK exclusively. I was planing on joining a photo club this fall in an effort to further expand my horizons with the camera & learn to use Photo Shop. So is it possible to do in LR???

I don't believe it can be done in LR, but yes, it can be done in Photoshop. Probably in a number of ways - when you're ready to dig into PS I'm sure there are plenty of folks better to teach you than I am!

Actually if that was your goal it would be easy. Simply remove a section of the wall to the right of the window so it is the same width as the wall to the left of the window. That would be the way to do that and minimize the PP work. Of course I am inherently lazy so I look for the easy way LOL! It would require altering the shadow on the radiator though to match the change...

Did you try to crop out the whole window right at the shadow on the wall ? That part is way more intricate in detail than the rest, it is only partial plus there is already a window in the picture. I would say doing this would increase the simplicity making picture more austere and possibly open imagination of a viewer.
