This is an open star cluster located in the constellation Auriga. Named for the two gaseous structures that look like Tadpoles swimming toward the center, this open star cluster is surrounded by HII (hydrogen) gas. Imaged last night from my Bortle 5/6 back yard.
The second image is a closer in crop of the tadpoles to preserve detail from compression.
