These are just a few of my son getting his tattoo that started last year. One more session and he'll be done

Well hopefully he still likes that when he's 50 years old. I can appreciate the artistry, it looks well done, I just don't see why one would want that on their body, forever.

I have to agree, I find it hard to believe he'll look at that when he's a senior and think...ya, that was a great idea.

But also, that being said, and to each their own, looks like the artist has skills.

He's a guitar player in a sound recording studio and has his own late night heavy metal radio show starting next week. Not too bad for a 19 year old. Doesn't wear caps backwards, doesn't wear baseball caps at all, doesn't skate board either. Spends all his time building a career in music. The first part of his tattoo was his high school graduation gift from his mid 50's parent's. The tattoo artist is brilliant, I'll post some shots of my tattoo when it's done, being 57 I won't have to wait until I'm older to wonder what it will look like.

He also knows how to wear his pants, no sagging prison look for him.

Maybe if my mum had had enough chutzpah to get a tattoo she wouldn't be the miserable old hypochondriac sitting around complaining about her aches and pains and mythical problems all day. It's all in the attitude.

Hey! I'm 60 in April, I'd think about getting one if they weren't so expensive and I wasn't so cheap! The wife wants one but finds it difficult to overcome her upbringing ... and the thought of the pain that might be involved... and also she knows I'm cheap!

... It's not forever, after you die it will rot away and you'll have a nice, clean skeleton. :lmao:

I'm not sure what's wrong with skateboarders, but I'm glad he's a good kid. If you get a chance, thank his parents for me and tell them great job.

Nothing wrong with skateboarding, I did it some 40 years ago. Thanks for the comments, both myself and his mom are really proud of his accomplishments, we just pointed, he's doing all the work.

They are expensive, especially if you want it done right. In photo terms he has already spent the price of a 70-200 2.8 on this one.
