The Terrible 2's - Outdoors! C&C Please

I haven't subjected myself to the wonders of C&C in a while. I'm due!

I wish I'd have exposed the background a bit better in this shot, and really wish I'd have gotten a little further left to pick up both eyes.

I'd like to have blended ambient and flash a bit better here to reduce the shadow on the ground

This is my favorite of the bunch, though Mom liked #2 better.

#2 looks just a touch cool to me- maybe warm it just a tiny bit and see what that does for your skin tones and the background?

#3 his shoes are distracting. I find it can be a tough call with toddlers who want to explore their world (and potentially step on something and get hurt) but I like barefoot shots for babies and small children, especially if he's sitting with feet towards the camera. I know it can't be changed now but maybe something to consider next time.

I'm tending to agree with you on WB... especially since it's not perfectly consistent between the shots. I'll do some tinkering with it.

I like barefoot indoors and on grass, but I like the shoes in this shot for a couple of reasons. First, it's a hard outdoor surface, and shoes just seem to fit the setting. Second, I kinda liked the ones he was wearing. They match his outfit pretty well. At least they're not flaming white athletic shoes, those woulda had to go

I really like this venue. I'm going to have to spend some more time there.
