Ah, just to tell you this: never has a photo of a spider come out this crisp for me. Therefore: congratulations to your new house pet

Oh, God, not at my house, I took this in colorado, we were hanging out on the porch of our cabin, when i looked up at this huge web, and naturally where there is a web (albeit a huge one) there is a spider, and again, a huge one, this thing was gigatnic, hence the quality of the photo. That mushrrom thing on his back was easily the size of a nickel maybe even a quarter! If this was at my house i think i would keel over and die!

Ugh! I have major arachnophobia and I'll tell you I got goose bumps and shivers just looking at this thing! ale: This spider would have made me leave that cabin in a hurry... if you don't believe it just ask my dad... he's had more than a few middle of the night wake ups to dispose of various crawly things. I know it's an irrational fear as I live in Canada and we have puney bugs compared to some other places... which is why I can never move south.

Eggsack? Mooning? Giant spider butt? Who knows? Taking into account wierd camera angles, I can just imagine some of the gruesome things spotted on my own front porch ;~)

Eww! Gross. Although I wouldn't say I'm afraid of them, I definately don't like spiders very much.

BTW: Did you know that the average person swallows three to eight spiders a year in his or her sleep? At least that's what some random statistic I once heard said. How would you like to swallow one of these things when you're sleeping? :shock:

Yeah, creepy eh? They are attracted to your breath, gross!!! Thats why i freak when i see teeny tiny spiders, they could crawl up your nose and lay eggs in your brain and you wouldnt know. (ok not like its happened before, but scary just the same)
