The Unisphere at Night

Walking home the night before last, I stumbled upon the now-active fountains at the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park. I had no idea they'd be on and wiped-out as I was, I had to stop and take a few photos. Both are HDR, and minimally processed to correct color and toning.

I read today that the city plans to keep the fountains on for good after years of disrepair once the U.S open concludes.

I love the top image. It has wonderful tonal values and is very dynamic. The slightly warm tone also fits well - not too much, but not cold either. The lights balance this nicely - well done!

That second picture is just magnificent! The exposure seems right on, great colors and texture, and just an overall great composition! Very nice!
