We finally got a little sunshine yesterday and a few minutes where it hit the backyard feeders. It gave me the opportunity to put the old D50 and Sigma 70-300 through some handheld shots for old times sake in decent light. I was pleased with the results for the old camera. Funny I dont remember it and the lens being that heavy, it must be gaining weight, it cant be that I am getting older. :)

Love the head shot. Not often one gets a chance @ that.

I was fortunate to get one in S Carolina.

Very nice! I wish the weather here would improve enough to get out in the yard. Some of the winter residents are hanging around wanting to be photographed.

Thanks all, Not sure whats going on out back but the last few days the woodpeckers who were here all the time have disappeared. Even the nuthatch is scarce.
