The whole reason we got a DSLR

So we had our daughter in February and she was the final reason we decided to go ahead and get a DSLR.

I'd like to share a few shots I think are pretty okay. I am getting better...

Nice shots of fingers, but the third one with focus on the butterflies is lost on me.

I like #1 & #2 a lot.

Look at the color tint.
Try to frame so that, if you want to enlarge it will fit into a 4:5 frame.
There is a lot of excess space, this is underexposed and the color is off in some strange way.

The color did bother me a bit (the other was similar which is why I went monochrome). I don't know if I had the camera set to a weird white balance or what.

As for the framing, I am not sure on what you mean.
