It's a nice one but I think it would nicer (cleaner) with out the scope and tripod.

He almost never leaves home without it so I thought I'd include it but I agree if I was going to shoot it again I'd leave them out.

wouldn't it be lighter to have the camera and lens on the gimbel and the spotting scope on a sling over your shoulder?? lol

can't do it that way. the scope at mininum is a 20x zoom shaky as heck and any little bit of wind you cant use it handheld.
