I kept meaning to run my radio controlled car but never got around to it. Partly because the O-ring in the tank had vanished and I couldn't be arsed to fix it. Anyhoo, finally did it today and as the engine hadn't been used for about three years decided to give it the once over first. Long story short, I snapped the pull start string, fixed it, then pulled it and buggered it all up again. So now I need a new one and can't find one. Any advice? It's a Thunder Tiger part # PN0073.

im 100% eletric....its faster and cleaner than gas so i dont know what to tell you.

We run a Traxxas here. Ive seen folks use the string from old mini blinds as replacement pull start cords. Or even a heavy test fishing line.

Mine all electric too.

Just recently found the charger so will need to have a play with it soon!!

Sorted it out in the end and will be making a starter out of a 12v motor.
