Check out my photo below, from a recent shoot. I've been learning more techniques as far as editing goes, and I'd like to get your feedback (in addition to the photo itself).

The light and tones are great.

I remember one of your kast sets and IMO ( without looking back) this shot is an improvement.

Using strobes? Dodge and burn?

It's a very odd pose. It would work well if she was doing something that required her to bend over like that.

The lighting is awkward. The warm sidelight is very nice, and maybe that should have been the key light. The fill on her face is much cooler, and balanced nearly 50/50 with the side light.

If this was shot at sunset, then your model should have been turned toward the sunlight and then use much less fill on the off side.

That and the pose.

the pose doesn't bother me too much, it's a conceptual piece. what kills it for me is that you can't see her eyes (the light on camera right was positioned way too high) and the processing of the fore/backgrounds reads fake.
