Things to bring for ski/snowboard shooting?

I already ordered the bag, rain-sleeve, and battery. I've seen some skiers wearing belt bags and I like them too. It can also turn into a shoulder bag.

I'll use a hood but do I really need to use a filter?

Not planning on riding and shooting during the same day so I will just pick depending on weather. Season pass!

As for sunglasses/goggles, you take them off when using the viewfinder right?

Yeah, you really will find the need for a filter. The ND and Circular Polarizers will cut the glare of the snow a LOT. It's not for protection, it serves a real purpose in the image.

I don't know if you like to do any video, but these are great for sport video and you can mount it to anything. It takes some nice snapshots too. Good quality, definitely fisheye though.

Using filter and flash photography is something I haven't learned yet. Would I need to use those filters on a cloudy day as well? For flash, I don't even know.

GoPro is awesome, I want that too but camera accessories first =)
