So I love my D7000.. but it's old. I wish there were more bracketing options, a better viewfinder, more AF points, higher resolution, better ISO performance, a more sturdy/professional build.. and the list goes on. I've been thinking about upgrading for probably a few months, but with the recent release of the D810, the D800 prices have dropped.. I could pick up a used one (which is what I might do) for around 2k or 2300. I currently have a Nikon 85mm 1.8G, 50mm 1.8D, Sigma 17-50 2.8 OS, Tokina 11-16mm 2.8, and a Nikon 80-200 2.8D. I really would use it with the 85, 11-16 @ 16 ( I've read there's no vignetting), and the 80-200, and hopefully upgrade my 17-50 to a 24-70, and maybe even sell of my D7000 to fund the upgrade from the 17-50 to a 24-70. Thoughts? Is this foolish? I'm sick of waiting for the D400 or D9300 that doesn't seem to exist. I shoot mostly portraits (85mm 1.8G) and landscapes (11-16). My end game would be to replace the 11-16 with a 16-35 f4 and the 17-50 with a 24-70, but that wouldn't likely happen for a while... Am I crazy?
