this has become an unhealthy obsession

So tonight I was standing in the rain taking pictures thinking about how a lens hood doubles as a protector for keeping water off the lens, when it dawned on me.... Im standing in the pouring rain at night taking pictures while holding the umbrella over THE CAMERA. It wasnt over me I was soaking wet... I think i need mental help.
