Why a Mouse would be photographing an Eagle Owl with a fisheye lens is beyond me but you never know it might happen.

Awesome shot!

Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

10 out of 10 for unique view. I have a friend I shoot with who is trying this with a Kingfisher coming into perch, so far a few shots using a 28mm and now he has just bought a 14mm. Love the view and a great wingspread !!. Excellent to see.

All the best and well done.

Danny.

There's a slight tilt in the horizon. :biglaugh:

Excellent shot LP. Glad to see you haven't completely forgotten us here. Now if that damn Penguin and the Overlord would post again......

Cheers all, Camera and lens are fine but I think I lost a few hairs from my head ;-)
I was hoping to get the talons out but getting the timing right was a nightmare

Neat shot!

Talons out this close would be tricky and risky! Heh kind of thing where I'd probably say let the AF do its thing and just use a remote and watch from afar otherwise you could end up missing ears not just a few hairs

Yeah but it would be worth it, just imagine walking down the road and someone says

"whoa there buddy, how did you get that hideous ugly scar on your face?"

and then replying as you put your shades on
"Eagle Owl"
