What's new

This is why I don`t wrangle ducks....

What the duck is this thread actually about?

I don't ducking know anymore! Am I going quackers?

Well what ever is going on it is certainly fowl.

M there are no dust bunnies or otherwise left in the house! it is the evil milling ducks that are left, they have been here a long long time lol

Thanks Terri! Very very crafty! You think you have them all gathered together and you shoo the bunch out, smile as you see their wee ducky butts waddle away and then you hear it... that slapping of webbed feet behind you as a straggler sneaks up to quack you....

So you're telling me Bunny, there's a gang of ducks running around in your house free balling.

The solution to random ducks is elephants.
It is not well known, except to experts on the two animals, that the natural enemy of ducks is, indeed, elephants.
If an elephant sees a wandering duck, the elephant will attempt to stamp on it.
After a couple of close calls, even the dumbest duck will stay out of sight when the elephants are around.
You will need an elephant for each story of the house as elephants are afraid of stairs.

Now, if the elephants become a problem, I have a solution for that.
In, one word, monkeys with gongs.
(that's actually three words but you know what I mean.)

Lew, I'm kinda curious how you have come by that knowledge. ;-)

That is a long but interesting story.
I'd invite you over for a drink to tell you about it but we are having some major work done to totally refurbish a bathroom where an unfortunate and miscalculating duck had taken refuge, counting on a small doorway for protection.

Sounds like this thread is in need of the Duck Dynasty boys to pay PR a visit.

Lew! Ha! Thanks for the smile over coffee this morning :)
Elephants huh....

Oh. Ok. Seems that you don't want to make a habit out of this. Probably is hard on the furniture. And you haven't mentioned how the monkeys figure in this narrative, but I think I can guess.

@ Judi. If you want to keep the ducks at bay, have a recipe book open to the part about roast duck. Who knows, maybe they'll get the message. :)
