Thoughts on the new Nikon D300s

I currently have the Nikon D300 and find it to be an absolutely amazing camera, but with the launch of the new D300s I am trying to figure out if the video and dual memory slot is worth it. It seems like the new D300s would be perfect for wedding photographers because they will be able to separate JPEGS and RAW files with the SD and CF memory slots. It will also allow for video which can be an upsell for wedding and event photographers.

if you're looking for an additional camera anyway then yes it's worth it. if you're thinking about just upgrading from a D300 to a D300s then i don't think it's worth it. but only you can answer if the cost of upgrading is worth it to you.
