TIFF & EXIF

Does the TIFF format support EXIF metadata? When I tried to save my file as a TIFF in Paint Shop Pro XI, it warned me that I would lose the EXIF data. Is this a limitation of the software I'm using, or is it a limitation of the file format itself?

Tiff supports Exif...that's weird that PSP is telling you that. I wonder if you'll just lose some Exif data...or all of it. Strange.

Some versions of PSP do not support retention of exif data. TIFF can hold it just fine.
