I want to catch the nice crisp points
please school me!
also i want to shoot it during the day not at night

lol i thought u were gonna pull the fire alarm at school or something! I remember back in 9th grade they did that every day for almost 2 months and nobody knew who did it!

also i know trial and error but i was sitting at work chomping at the bit not being able to try it right away! ahhahaha!

I was moving around a lot that day, overcast, and shade, and had it up for shooting at 400mm. Left it up to be sure to stop action on a fast moving fire whip.

No filter.

Now that you mentioned it, I had no idea it was a fire whip. I thought he was lighting something on fire, not holding a fire whip in action.
