I like it ... though I would actually prefer the background to be a bit more OOF ... but nice view of the little world we tend to miss seeing.

I'm glad I don't know enough to see this as a failure - it looks like a winner to me!

Thanks very much. Only a failure in that I was trying to focus stack enough shots to have the entire foreground in focus. I didn't have my tripod, and I was hasty in shooting. I'd like to shoot it again, but it would be funny to travel the two hours each way to the tiny destination

I love chocolate but sometimes to much can lead to a stomach ache, so it is with focus stacking. IMO the technique lends itself to smaller doses. Having some OOF in a scene keeps it real. As such I think you've got winner, not a failure. Well done.
