I really like the play between the in-focus and out-of-focus areas. It really gives depth to an image that could have easily looked like another flat "pretty flower" kind of shot.

And yes, I actually am allergic so I'll go take my antihistamine now

I get that effect by using a long lens. In this case the canon 100-400, gives great bokeh.
