To monochrome or not?

Don't do B&W much....an image doesn't seem better for it...but I do think this one might work. However, either I'm wrong, or I'm not doing it right. Comments/attempts? (pedestrian bridge over the Thames in Reading, taken with my mirrorless...Panasonic G9)

Really nice lines and triangles in that image. I would automatically try b&w on that one, myself. However, you have that great blue sky and changing blue sky to b&w can change the feel of an image drastically.

Great image, I think it would hold up well to black and white. Quite nice as is.

Images that have at their core a lot of lines, or shapes, or masses, or repeating forms--those types of image often translate well to B&W. This images fits to a TT the mold of the type of photo that will translate well to B&W.
